Domestic BER Cert

A Building Energy Rating is required for all properties being sold, rented or undergoing SEAI Grant aided retrofit works, such as Solar PV Installations & Insulation Upgrades. A registered BER assessor will survey the property and provide a rating of the energy performance of the building.

Provisional BER Certs

Provisional BER Certs are pre-construction energy assessments for new builds, based on construction plans, to show compliance with energy regs (Part L) and calculate the final energy rating. These are required by County Councils when submitting commencement notices and by banks for Mortgages.

Technical Assessment

A Technical Assessment is required for homeowners who are applying for an SEAI heat pump grant. A technical advisor will survey the property and identify what steps may be required to make a property heat pump ready by calculating the Heat Loss Indicator (HLI) of the building.
